PROPERTY USE POLICIES & RULES:

Coaches of teams/leaders of groups are expected to supervise closely all activities on church premises, protect the property of Hillwood Presbyterian Church, and ensure the following rules are strictly observed by all participants and guests using the property:

1. Hillwood Presbyterian Church does not maintain fields to sporting use. Participation is at users’ own risk. Required completion of this form by all participants ensures the church will be held harmless from use.*

2. Using organization is required to obtain any necessary insurance. ($1,000,000 minimum liability required as is listing Hillwood Presbyterian Church as additional insured).*

3. Parking is limited to approved spots assigned per use requests. Abide by coach's instructions regarding approved parking spots.*

4. The playground is for use ONLY by Hillwood Playcare during their hours of operation. NO other person using Hillwood Presbyterian Church property is allowed to be on or play on the playground. If you are a participant in an event to be held on the playground that was approved in advance by the church leadership. As an approved playground user, you will agree to cover costs of any playground equipment repair/replacement or maintenance costs incurred as a result of your use.*

5. Hillwood Presbyterian Church’s property is smoke free, drug free, and weapon free.*

6. No alcoholic beverages will be possessed or consumed on Hillwood Presbyterian Church property.*

7. No commercial activity shall be conducted without prior approval.*

8. Contracting organizations and participant(s) will pay for all damage, cleaning, and repair expenses beyond normal and customary use.*

9. Hillwood Presbyterian Church requires a minimum of one responsible adult supervisor is present at all times for every ten participants or fraction thereof.*

10. All policies for the property must be observed.*

11. This form must be completed and e-signed by the participants and/or parents/guardians of participants before use of church property will be scheduled.*

12. Inappropriate behavior and use of the church property will be cause of immediate termination of the Church’s Property Use Agreement.*

13. ALL PARTICIPANTS AND GUESTS MUST AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE PROPERTY RULES AND E-SIGNATURES BELOW ATTEST AGREEMENT TO COMPLY.*

INDEMNIFICATION & HOLD HARMLESS:

INDEMNIFICATION/HOLD HARMLESS CLAUSE: the above participant and parents/guardians do personally contract to indemnify and hold Hillwood Presbyterian Church harmless from and against any damages, claim, or demand arising out of the use of Hillwood Presbyterian Church premises by any person participating in, or present because of, the scheduled activity and agrees to reimburse Hillwood Presbyterian Church for any expenses incurred defending such claim or demand.
